More Mistakes To Avoid With Your Wedding Sparkler Send Off
10th Jul 2015
In our last blog, we spoke about some of the mistakes that you should try to avoid when planning your grand sparkler exit at your wedding. As a bride, we know you have a ton of things to consider and sparklers for your wedding may be the last thing on your mind right now, but we want to give you just a few more so that you big day goes on without a hitch to the very end! Here are a few more things to consider.
1. Don't overbuy! Some brides think they need a sparkler per guest but that's just not true because not everyone is going to participate in your sparkler send off! Make sure you do buy in bulk though. We have great deals on sparklers for weddings.
2. Don't forget the matches! You'll need plenty of them so it's a great thing to also buy in book. Matchbox wedding favors are a great idea and you'll kill two birds with one stone! Make sure that you have more than enough!
3. Make sure you get the timing right. Sparklers can be tricky - some light easily while some don't! Do a test run to make sure you know how long your sparklers take to light and how long they're going to burn. Ask either your wedding coordinator or photographer to help you time the grand exit accordingly!
4. Make sure your guests have a place to put the sparkler out! This one is crucial! The best idea is to have a designated galvanized steel pail with sand in it for guests.
